Bundle Monster Plates

I, like everyone else in the world, got the Bundle Monster plates, and I couldn’t be happier with them! They are dirt cheap, so, um, YAY! Especially since I’m not sure I’ll be able to justify buying any more actual Konad plates with no more coupon codes. The extremely varied patterns on these 21 plates verrrrrrry nicely fill in any holes in my Konad pattern collection! There are full nail designs, tip designs, holidays, animals, bugs, fruit, swirlies, and of course lots of the obligatory flowers. There are only three “word” patterns, which is awesome because I never use the words.

I thought that the images on the Amazon page for these were a little small to see much detail, so I made higher-res images of all the plates and posted them here. I’ll probably add pictures of my Konad plates eventually, too.

They’re the same size as Konad plates, but they’re thinner and very sharp on the edges. So THAT’S why Konad plates have a paper backing!  And of course, the full patterns are a bit small. But these are kind of too thin as opposed to the Konad plates which are often too short for me. Some of the patterns are nice and intricate, but there are also a couple that aren’t very well done at all so they just resemble blobs.

I think that everyone should RUN over to Amazon and get these. There’s only a very slight different in quality from actual Konad plates, that I noticed, and there are just so many of them! I didn’t really notice much of a difference in the actual stamping process, though I’ve heard people complain that they designs are etched too shallowly.
I like to be able to see all the images easily when choosing a pattern to use, so I store all my stamping plates in a little CD storage binder that I got from the dollar store. Anyone have any better ideas?

Perhaps commentary isn’t actually NEEDED, but, well, I’m wordy and it’s my blog!

As everyone else says, yeah the full patterns are a bit small, and I have thin nails, width-wise. But these are kind of too thin as opposed to the Konad plates which are often too short.
There were lots of other non-full patterns, though, that I found way too big. That’s not really unusual though, I have Konad plates with huge designs also.
Some of the patterns are nice and intricate, but there are also several that aren’t very well done at all so they just resemble blobs.
problems with use:
The plates themselves are really sharp on the edges, which I HATE.
