Borghese – Mediterraneo Sea

This was so gorgeous in the bottle, I just couldn’t resist. The others in the collection looked awfully pretty too, BTW. It was very very pretty on the nail, also, but somehow it turned into more of a navy blue base rather than the dusty blue that it looked in the bottle. It is extremely opaque,  creme base rather than a jelly, and this was two coats. I was expecting it to be sheer. Because of the opacity covering up a lot of the glitter, it’s not very sparkly – not one of those glitter polishes that distracts you all day. Now, the glitter. It seems to be a ton of round silver or blue glitter, and a smattering of a bunch of other colors – I see red, gold, green, etc. This polish EATS topcoat. This is two coats of Seche and two of David. Still bumpy. I really like it though.

I do NOT like the particular bottle I ended up with – it was really thick and gloopy, maybe it’d been tested by everyone who walked in the store I guess? But the brush was also all wonky on the ends instead of smooth. I had a really hard time applying it.
