I thought I’d start doing small reviews of my Birchboxes. I’m trying to decide whether to cancel mine or not, so maybe this will help me decide if it’s worth it! Current feeling about Birchbox – not good, but I like getting surprises in the mail so I hang on grudgingly.
I am not really interested in skincare, haircare, perfume, or weird organic food. And that’s pretty much what we’ve been getting lately. Honestly, the past couple of months have been so sucky that getting a single makeup sample gets me all excited, no matter what it is.
So here’s this month’s stuff, the theme is “Natural Wonders.”
Juice Beauty Oil-Free Moisturizer – I’ll try this out, it looks kind of interesting
Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift perfume – I don’t wear perfume, ever. I guess it’s cool to get a perfume sample in just about every. single. Birchbox though. Maybe one day I’ll find something that wows me. This one smells ok, I don’t think it’s something I’d buy, but it’s pretty pleasant.
Zoya Lotus – Yay! I feel like maybe Birchbox listened when all the nail bloggers got sorta tired of their service a while ago? Because I think there’s been nail polish in every box I’ve received so far this year.
Amika Obliphica Nourishing Mask – again, if I’m bored someday I might give this a shot, but I’m not wild about this. Plus, my hair is very, very long, so while this would be a very generous sample size for a normal person, it probably won’t be enough for my hair. Not Birchbox’s fault though!
Dropps Laundry Detergent – What? How weird. Not interested in this at all.
