I’m sad to say that this is another of the CND Effects sets that fall a little flat for me. The Effect is nice, but the base is just so…boring. And I really wish the polishes had different names. Plum Truffle and Plum Truffle Sparkle? Lazy!

As always, perfect formula, but that’s about all I can say about this one.

Yeah, so maybe this is just a very fine pink glitter in a clear base, but…I like it. There are other Effects that are much better, but this still adds a nice bit of sparkle to the polishes I’ve layered it over. Liking this one makes me wish I hadn’t skipped the Valentine’s Day set from a year or two ago, because I’d heard people say that it was just a boring red glitter, not really an “Effect.” Maybe I can eBay it, I guess.
