I guess I’ve taken a bit of an unintentional hiatus lately, I’ve been such a bum about posting for the past couple of weeks. The thing is that I’m still taking pics and uploading them and saving them as drafts…I guess I just can’t be bothered to actually hit the post button! I swear, WoW [...] Yes!!!!! These were taking up SO MUCH ROOM in my untried section, and now I can move them OUT into my Melmers! I’m so proud of myself. I have ALMOST whittled it down to making all my untrieds fit on the display shelf my dad made me, EVEN with the addition of the Vintage Vixens [...] I recently bought my first Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics polish, Swamp Thing. This color is extraordinarily ugly, people. Of course, I don’t really think that’s a bad thing – with all the beautiful, ladylike colors I have, sometimes I just need something edgy and ugly, and so there is room in my heart for swampy greens, [...] Neo Whimsical, 3 coats. Yawn. This very light pink polish is pretty enough, but nothing special. I think that such light colors look bad on me because they match my skin too well. Van D’Go, 3 coats. This one is much prettier. It’s a very light pinkish/peach color, and I really like it.
CQ is certainly on trend with this polish! This is a mousey brownish-gray creme, and I like it well enough. I don’t really get excited over this type of color. It applied well, though! 2 coats.
Well, here’s the Hampton collection from Funky Fingers! The collection looks really nice together (except for the oddball Mint Me In Montauk), and the colors are so cheery and summery to me! Only one of these 5 polishes seems right off the bat to be a Color Club dupe. Most of the brushes were crazy [...] Well, as the post I had planned for today was, I think, eaten by wordpress, here’s a huge random post. I am clearing out my drafts folder all in one go! Nina Ultra Pro – In A Tiff *swoon* I have found a new favorite! Dusty pinkish coral, dried SUPER fast, and it applied just soooo well! It was not hard at ALL to get complete coverage with just one coat, but I added a second just to be sure. I love this shade! This is the perfect interview/work appropriate color for my skin.
OK, so I know that this looks like a jelly, but it’s really not. It looks like a creme on the nail, so that’s what I’m calling it. This was 3 coats.
